Half the sous vide world runs on Rubbermaid tubs — cheap, tough, NSF-listed — with one flaw: an open surface that sheds water and heat all night. This lid closes that gap for less than the cost of a bag of coffee. It is cut to seat an Anova Nano, Pro, 2.0 or 3.0 (37 mm entry, 47 mm inner diameter) and drops onto Rubbermaid’s 12, 18 and 22-quart containers.
The hinge is what separates it from a sheet of cling film. The front section flips open for water top-ups, bag checks and mid-cook additions while the rest of the surface stays sealed. It is BPA-free polypropylene rated from −4°C to 100°C, and when the cook is done it rides the top rack of the dishwasher.
The hinged section opens for checks and refills without lifting — or dripping — the whole lid.
Cut for Anova Nano, Pro, 2.0 and 3.0: 37 mm entry width, 47 mm inner opening diameter.
One lid covers the 12, 18 and 22-quart Rubbermaid containers — the meal-prep standards.
A closed surface keeps water level and temperature steady through long overnight sessions.
BPA-free polypropylene, rated −4°C to 100°C, cleans on the top rack.
For the Rubbermaid-and-Anova crowd — the most cost-effective single upgrade a budget sous vide setup can make.
